Hey there!
Sorry President changed our Pday on us! It is safe to assume that whenever there is a Monday holiday our p-day will be on Tuesday. Anyway...
Congrats Chelsea! I am really happy for you and Kyle. I am sad that I wont be able to be there but I will be there in spirit. If you send me the bridesmaids outfit ...and it is mission appropriate I will wear it the day of the wedding :) Send me lots of pictures of the whole process. Send me actually copies of some pictures too. It is nice to have copies outside of the computer. I will tell you if they get to be too much ha
This week was really slow. It was knocking a lot of empty doors. But the weather has been beautiful so lots of people have been out and about riding bikes and taking walks. So there have been plenty of people to talk to. We have been able to see most of our investigators at least once this past week which is nice. We are hoping to be able to start contacting them more frequently but they are all busy busy people. The fact that we can find them at home at least once a week is a miracle.
Our ward mission leader's son got his mission call and he invited us to his opening. He is going to the CALIFORNIA Irvine mission. So close! I told him I will take care of his home state if he takes care of mine. He leaves on the the 18th of February but he is really excited to go. He is the first missionary in his family so his parents are super happy :)
I have come to learn so much this week about the way we work and why we do the things that we do. Not just missionary work but the real world too. I was able to go to a training yesterday and it opened my heart to a whole new side of missionary work. I am grateful to a Heavenly Father that allows us great stewardship over his children. He knows that we will never be worthy of doing his work on our own and that is why he provided a Savior for us to close the holes and gaps that we create. I know that all good things come because we have a Heavenly Father that loves us and an older brother who died for us. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and leads us to a plan that blesses families. It is our choice every day to partake of that Plan.
I love you all :) I am grateful for each and everyone of you and the examples that you are to me. I can feel your prayers helping this work and know that I pray for you each and everyday that you may find success and peace in your lives.
Love always,
Sister Greaves
