Hola Familia!
Nothing super long or exciting today considering I just talked to y'all.
Thought I would send some pictures your way today of some things that we did this week.
We went to the temple with M for her endowment. She is leaving for her mission in a month. We are sad to see her go because she comes out with us at least once a week. She is the cutest little pre-sister missionary. Way more prepared than I was before I came out. It was nice to go to the temple again. We get to go one more time in May as a mission so we are getting spoiled lately.
The highlight of the week was meeting with a young man named V. He is very prepared to hear the gospel...you can just feel it! He opened up to us about his concerns and doubts. He has come to a point where he has let his doubt completely overcome his faith and decided to leave religion all together. We read with him in Alma 32 about just having a desire to believe and he said "It is like this was written for me!" And then in our second visit as we read in 2 Nephi 2 he was excited that he was finally understanding and receiving answers to his questions. We invited him to be baptized on May 23 but he didn't come to church because he got caught at work so we are going to have to re extend. He told us in the middle of our lesson that he may still have many doubts but he feels more peace than he has in a while. He recognized and pointed out to us that he was feeling the Spirit!
We painted 2 houses this week. I think I have found my best shot for a career. I am going to be a pro before I leave the area. We are going back to help again this week. I am glad these people trust us enough to paint their homes. They can't expect much with our free but loving labor. ha We get paid with food :)
Yea not much else to say other than I love this work! May is going to be an awesome month I just know it! We just got the Ensigns so I want to invited all y'all to reread through the General Conference addresses again. Those words are more important to us that scripture. How blessed we are to have a living Prophet to lead and guide us today.
Have a wonderful week! I love you!
