Yep, I am sick. I haven't had a voice for about 3 days, but I feel great, so at least I am not sick in bed for Christmas week! Hopefully I will not sound terrible as I skype with you later this week! Try to get Haylor on as well! And Kyle!
Some sad news, Brother W died last week :( He was my favorite old man! It was really hard for me to hear that, so if you could keep his wife in your prayers I would really appreciate it.
I "killed" by dear Sister Hawkes this Thursday. Oh it was so hard. I love her so much and I already miss her like crazy. I feel so blessed to have had her as a companion. Pretty much the best month of my mission. I am living with the Armand Bayou Sisters. They are over the YSA branch for the stake. My area is part of theirs so we are covering both. We were at church from 9am to 4pm, and then yesterday they had a baptism. I never left a church building yesterday! It was awesome. I love the YSA kids.
Being in a trio has been okay but it will be fine for another week. Sister Hunt and Haynes are pretty cool. We are crazy busy all the time covering both areas but we are having fun.
This week I learned how to make jalapeno jelly with Sister S. While it was setting she gave us her prediction for the future. She has a gift and it is incredible. Basically quoted part of my Patriarchal blessing to me. She is one of my favorite members here...I think I say that about everyone.
This week we also hung out with the YSA kids a few times. It is weird being with them because they are my age. On Sunday our church and the Methodist church did a combined community sing-along to Handel's Messiah. We were the ushers. I thought it was a really cool idea.
Well not much to say. Life is good! I am excited to get my new companion in 10 days so we can powerhouse it in Seabrook!
Tomorrow we are meeting as a mission to have a conference and then a party! We get all our gifts and stuff then. Plus we get to hang out as a whole mission! So it is going to be a good day! We have a lot of plans for the next week which is so nice. I am so excited to talk to y'all! I will save all my good stuff for then!
Have a great week and Merry Christmas!
I love you!
