You heard right! In mission lingo that means I am training! I finally get a greenie of my own! I am excited to pick her up on Wednesday. I am also staying in Seabrook.
This week was just as crazy as the last. Christmas Conference was a blast and getting to see all the missionaries was really fun! It is a really neat experience when your entire mission is in one room. It got even better when we all knelt in prayer together. The Spirit was so strong! We got to watch "It's a Wonderful Life"! Sorry you couldn't find our copy in time to watch it on Christmas Eve. I promise it is with all my other movies where ever they ended up after the move! I got to see Devin at the party. He was a friend of mine at BYU. It is weird seeing people from the pre-mish life. But it was good to see him. That is him in the picture below. We watched a slideshow of all the pictures that people took in the mish this year. The Spirit was strong watching that as well. Watching all these kids your age having fun and sharing the gospel is quite an experience. Being a missionary is seriously so much fun! Ok, not all the time, but the good definitely outweighs the bad.
Christmas Day was awesome! It was so great being able to talk to y'all! 40 minutes goes by really fast but at least we get to email every week! It was really nice to see you, though. Glad to hear you had a good Christmas. Sounds like you will also have a great new year. We spent most of our day with the Stortz family. We opened gifts with them and did our calls. We spent time with our Zone as well. It was a really relaxed. I didn't wear shoes all day! It was awesome. We just rocked slippers!
I spoke in the Singles ward on Sunday. I was there 2 weeks and they snagged me. It was nice to spend 2 weeks with them. It is nice to be around people your age for a bit, but I am also really excited to focus on my area. Being in limbo for a few weeks is not very effective for missionary work. I am also so happy that I got to be with Sister Hunt! We have gotten along really well and had a ton of fun. I will be sad to let her go on Wednesday.
For some reason all my Christmas pictures aren't loading up so sorry there will only be a few this week!
I know something else happened this week but since I just talked to you I feel like I have nothing to say.
Oh well.
I love you all and I am so grateful for the love and support you have shown me as I have served these past 6...oh 7 months..... man time flies aha
Have a great week! Happy 2015!
