Sounds like y'all had an exciting week! I am glad Dad had a second chance to celebrate his birthday. Keep working with that family down the road! You are doing a great thing and members make all the difference, especially when on assignment from the Bishop. I know that many people have be reactivated in that way. One of which got to partake of the Sacrament worthily for the first time in years. I got to be by them during the meeting and I could literally feel the Spirit radiating off of her. It is moments like that that make everything about this work worth it :)
Also J practiced with the ward choir this week and learned the song in a matter of minutes. He said that "Let the Holy Spirit Guide" is his new favorite song. He is so fun and he loves to be a church. His 16th birthday is today and so soon he will be able to bless the sacrament! He is also preparing to go to Nauvoo with the youth this summer.
This week we went up to Sugar Land for Greenie Training. Of course any day I drive to Sugar Land it is pouring down rain and backed up traffic...well there is always traffic in Houston so that is a given.
My roots in California make me used to traffic and I am one of very few people who aren't frustrated while driving around town. We also have spent a lot of time this week trying to focus on how we as a mission can reach our goal of baptizing 60 people by the end of January. We are at 34 right now and we are doing all in our power to find and teach those that are ready. In our area we have 3 that are qualified but we are down to the point where it is their choice and their desire to follow Christ. We are working with so many wonderful people and I know that the Lord is hastening His work greatly in the League City Zone.
Sorry another short week. I am trying to repent of my terrible letters and no pictures ha.
I love you :) Have a great week!
Love always,
Sister Greaves
