...It is a talk by President Kimball. Check it out! Ha I am kidding it is a talk for missionaries that talks about not looking for a spouse on a mission.
One of these weeks I promise my letter will get interesting again. We have been having a really slow time going in Seabrook so although we are working hard the stories are few.
We were able to teach a new investigator! Her name is K. She and her husband D are redoing their trailer and let us come in a check it out. We ended up teaching them the restoration! They are really funny and we are hoping to see them again in the next few days. We also met a guy named T (who flips cars) who we are excited to start teaching.
Some fun events that happened...
We help Sister S with her canning again. We learned how to make pasta sauce from scratch. The most consuming part was grinding up all the tomatoes. But when you get to talk with Sister S it is always fun :) She is a hoot for sure. She also told us more about her cookie jar collection. It is impressive! I will have to remember to take a picture one of these days.
We also helped L and her kids make their Valentine's for school. It brought back a lot of memories of making them when I was little. It also made me think of Valentine's day with the Kinders. Man we had fun last year!
At Relief Society we made a cute heart craft. I am going to send it home but sorry it wont really be able to be used for another year ha. At RS we talked about the 5 Languages of Love. Super helpful for a missionary...ha we just sat with the other single ladies and talked.
For Valentine's Day we heart attacked the members to show our love and thanks. It is hard because most people have glass doors here so we had to be sneaky. I guess TPing a lot in my youth paid off after all ;) Thanks for being cool parents!
It was a fun week :) Yea we didn't teach at all really but we got to know each other and our members a little bit better. We are excited to hit the ground running this week and share the Good word of God! I know this Gospel is true and is the only way to true happiness in this life!
I love you!!
