Hello!
What a wonderful week! This week we had 32 baptisms in the mission. Our mission goal is 14 a week. I guess you could say that the Lord really does answer prayers and fasting. What a great miracle! No one was baptized in our Branch but that does not mean that we did not see miracles this week! We were able to find 5 new investigators! That has not happened in a long time here. Ok enough about numbers. They really do not matter! This week I was able to have fun! I was able to be myself and just talk with people. I was able to feel God's love for them and then bear sincere testimony! I was so great! Also our meal calender has a name on it for everyday this week! (Don't laugh. Interacting with members in important and it is just a bonus when food is involved)
Ok so remember the cop from last week. His story is FAR from over. He not only honks at us every time he sees us riding around but we keep running into him randomly. He was the cop that showed up to a members home when their neighbors were being crazy. He was at the gas station the same time as we were. His member friend started attending the branch and has been talking to him about the church without us even talking to him about it first. I am so excited to teach him tomorrow! It is also funny because know we have three cop friends who tell us to call if we need help but we also have some people on the other side of the law that have our backs as well. Basically people will roll up in car and ask to make sure no one is messing with us. It is awesome.
I went on splits and an exchange this week which were both a ton of fun. I left my companion for like 2 days and it was the weirdest thing! I will tell you about them next week cause I am running short on time. The picture attached is of my Zone. We played quittich for an activity last week. I love these missionaries so much! I am having my comp send me the picture of my district so I will send that on next week as well.
We got transfer calls today and my companion is being moved to a new area and I am taking over the Texas City North area. Crazy. We did not see that coming because I am still in the middle of training but I guess it is what the Lord wants. I will let you know next week who my new companion is!
I love you all
